Effects of Two-Dried Castor Leaf Formulations on the Population Dynamics and Pathological Activities of Root-Lesion and Root-Knot Nematodes on Water Yam

The pathological activities of plant-parasitic nematodes affect the marketable value yam tubers. This study intends to evaluate nematicidal effects dried castor leaf powder and extract on root-lesion root-knot under field conditions. Trials were conducted in Autonomous District Yamoussoukro Côte d’Ivoire during 2015 2016 growing seasons. Before seed planting, powder, (suburbs Abidjan), carbofuran (Callivoire S.A., Abidjan) applied at top mounds a randomized complete block design with three replicates.
